Jack White's Blue Telecaster
Such a cool guitar I wanted to give it it's own thread, being a Tele lover I was stoked to see it... and love the powder coated Bigsby hardware
hard to make out anything here other than it's Made In The USA:
could possibly be a Fender Highway One Telecaster in Daphne Blue

I like this guitar as well. I would love to get a Tele one day. That would probably be my next electric guitar purchase if I were to get one. Since I barely play the electrics I have at the moment though, I guess it's a far away thought.

Re: Jack White's Blue Telecaster
im gonna say it was custom painted the same color blue as his blue triple jet gretsch. whats also interesting about it is he has the strings running from the bigsby through a top loader bridge, teles with bigsbys dont normally run through that kind of bridge.

Can't stand all maple necks, much prefer rosewood fretboards. Looks like he's only using the bridge pickup from what I could tell on the Colbert video.

Re: Jack White's Blue Telecaster
Am I the only one who found it a little startling to see Jack playing a Tele? That's one beautiful guitar though.
Thought he'd be using it for that trademark Tele twang when I first saw pictures of him playing it, but sure enough, he makes that axe his own. By the time he kicks into the solo on "Freedom at 21", the sound he is getting from the Tele is barely distinguishable from the Airline. It really is true what they say -- it's not the guitar, its who plays it.
