Tinker Tone Records
For the past four years I've played a hand in a release here and a release there with a few indie labels. And every now and again I've run across an artist or band I thought was interesting but I knew they wouldn't fit in anywhere. Maybe they were too pop. Maybe they were too much of a novelty. Or maybe they didn't have a definable genre. I wanted to spin these tunes but couldn't find a label for them. And with necessity being the mother of invention I thought, why not? So here we go.
Introducing Tinker Tone Records! Owensboro, KY's first and only indie label specializing exclusively in 7-inch singles! We're not always a rock label. We're not always a punk label. We're not always a folk label. We're a label without labels. We'll try to keep things interesting and maybe we'll surprise you from time to time. See you around!

Way to go.
Hope it will turn out be successful as in how you envision it.

Thanks, everyone! Finally getting up on my feet over there. First release is August 9th. It's a crazy little tune too. There are links to clips on the Facebook page, for those who have surrendered to the Zuck Monster.

Re: Tinker Tone Records
Release day! I'll have limited copies of Mark Ten's quirky, kooky "Robot Girl" up for sale in the online shop (http://www.tinkertone.com) beginning at noon central today. And for those in the area, they will also be available at Joe's Records and Star Trax Video here in Owensboro, KY.
