Thanks for the link; I'm watching it now. ZZ Top, good stuff.
Jack White is on at 8:50 EST.

Add:
Wow, that was great. Part of Wayfaring Stranger got tossed into the mix,
which was a very cool surprise; I love that song and how he sings it.
I was kind of hoping that the guys would come out after the short break,
but it was the girls for the whole show; they did a terrific job, though.
It was great to hear FILWAG again, too; although I prefer it faster.

Does anyone know if this will be up again later, on the Virgin Mobile site?

AND: If anyone managed to capture this stream - or knows where a file
is available for download - please let us know. Thanks in advance. :-]

Just a reminder that there's a live stream for Austin City Limits music festival.
Jack White will be on tonight, in less than an hour: 8pm Central time. (9pm EST, 6pm PST)

Schedule:
http://lineup.aclfestival.com/events/2012/10/13/

Main website, with link at top to live stream:
http://www.aclfestival.com/

(Two channels, not sure which one he'll be on. Neil Young is playing the same time slot on another stage.)

I hope somebody can capture this and upload it later. Not sure whether/how long it will be on the ACL site.

ADD: So Jack White should be on now, and he's not - at least not on the live stream.

ADD: So he's FINALLY on now - 8:40pm.

He's finally on now. The Peahens are with him tonight.

Add:
I was just about to say that hearing Screwdriver made it worth the wait; but it got cut off early.
Another song I'd love to hear him play solo (with Ruby, that is) is "Will There Be Enough Water."
Has he played that yet on his solo tour, or not?

I also realized (well, not for the first time) that I like the Buzzards somewhat better. The Peahens are great musicians and all; but he just seems to cut loose and get wilder when the guys are playing. Also Daru is a blast to watch. The shows are great with both bands, no doubt about it. Just as a personal taste, I enjoy watching the guys more. But then, I also like Ruby's backing vocals, so it's nice that he mixes it up between the two bands.

This has probably been answered elsewhere, but I've been wondering throughout this tour: who the heck is that girl who is constantly moving around the stage taking photos during the entire set? I've seen her at many of the festival shows, and frankly...it's more than a bit distracting. It wouldn't surprise me if it were one of Jack's intended set pieces; perhaps a bizarre dig at people in the audience who constantly have their smartphones out snapping shots...

Anybody know?

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. I don't think he did though.

HBTB was a good opener, for sure.

I was disappointed with the live feed, which was too jerky on my computer, more like a slide show. Also near the very end the visual feed got all broken up and pixelated; but then as soon as they left the stage it was okay again.

yeah he may not have slammed it but he definitely did not gently put it down to say the least. The little riff he did in the middle of seven nation army was awesome. Wish they played missing pieces, that's one of my favorites live.

I hooked my iphone up to my tv and it was like watching a concert on blu ray for me. If you do have iphone I'd recommend getting the little connector set up. It's been great for all the live streams.

Jo McCaughey, she's their official photographer. (She's also LJ's wife, and worked for NME) She posts them at JackWhiteIII.com. There are pics from all the shows, good ones, so fans don't have to take pictures and can enjoy the shows. Check them out! :)

And you can download Jo's pics for free by clicking on them (on a Mac, at least -- not sure how you do it on a PC). Nice big beautiful photos.

According to the Brooklyn Vegan blog, the ACL stream is going to be re-broadcast tonight:
http://www.brooklynvegan.com/austin/201 ... e_the.html
No link provided there, but I assume it's on the ACL website.
I really wish I had known last night that we could watch it later.

Add:
Here's about 30 minutes out of the 90-minute show:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drqCRr2o9hM
The Jack White part is from about 4 minutes to 38 minutes.
The video quality is not too good though.

So I am trying to get most of the festivals that have been professionally recorded that Jack has been in this year..

So far I have

Itunes Festival
Amex
Lollapalooza
ACL (still looking for a good source)
Bridge School Benefit
Austin City Limits (looking for good source)
Virgin Free Fest (looking for good source)

Anything else I am missing? I know some were streamed online but I don't know what ones actually have decent sources to download..
