I won't, but perhaps Grim should make it (providing he's not as busy as he has been lately)

Possibly me, too.

If I actually manage to get tickets, I'll be there. (Notice my rampant optimism--but nothing ventured, nothing gained, etc., and are we assuming that even though Asheville is EST, the pre-sale will still be at 9 a.m. CST, i.e. Nashville local time?)

One ticket locked down! Now I need to score another for a coworker on Friday.

Awesome venue and a cool town.

Love the town and the venue, seen many shows there.

If you are hungry, go to Early Girl Eatery!!!

http://earlygirleatery.com/

My fave-
Shrimp and Grits$10.00
Jumbo shrimp sautéed in a spicy brown sauce with peppers, green onions, tomato and andouille sausage over stone-ground grits
Another great place is Tupelo Honey, veggie biscuits an gravy!!! yummmmmmmmmmm

Both are within walking distance of the Peel.

Barley's Taproom has 24 beers on tap, just diagonal from the venue!!! great pizza too!

You may have to buy a $1.00 "membership" but Broadway's is a great little bar with PBR in bottles, nice dirty little pool hall/venue, and a great outdoors area.

Hope everyone has fun!

Anyone want to trade an NYC 5/21 ticket for an Asheville? Otherwise, I'll be taking my chances against the bots in Friday's public lottery.

I've got a Wednesday Ryman balcony to trade for an Asheville. (I'd rather go to both, but I don't want balcony, and I DO want to go to Asheville.)

Edit: Forget it. I'd forgotten the confirmatory e-mail having to match up with the ID and blah blah blah . .

This had to be the most frustrating experience ever. Lets you choose tickets, enter the validation code, wait to access the system, then tells you there are no tickets available. I started right at noon, tried continuously for 30 minutes without success. :(
