I love that place. I've seen several shows there. Too bad he isn't playing Lincoln Hall or something.

I've seen a few shows there as well (NIN, Pixies) and it just sounds like a dungeon or something. Bleck! Not to mention waiting a hour to get down the stairs if you are up stairs when the show ends. I was supposed to see the White Stripes there, but everyone knows how that turned out....

Saw The Sex Pistols and Atoms for Peace (Thom Yorke) there and thought both shows were great. But probably just depends on where you are how good it sounds.

Was it the last NIN tour? I was at that show. So glad I got to see Mew! I've seen Primus there a few times too. I haven't gone upstairs. Just usually stay on the floor.

And I do not know what happened with TWS there. Guess it was after they decided to call it quits? It would've been fantastic to see them there. Chicago is one of my favorite places to travel to see music.

Yes, the last NIN tour, second night. I speak from a taping perspective more than a pure enjoyment perspective. Finding/staying in the sweet spot is difficult at the Aragon. I was supposed to see the WS there but they canceled the tour. The Aragon is definately better than the Congress Theater or whatever they call that hole where the DW played last time. Ugh!

Yeah, not a fan of the Congress. Saw Omar Rodriguez-Lopez there. The pizzeria down the street is tasty though!
