Wish all the Swirlers from Shreveport came to New Orleans, was weird not knowing a bunch of folks around me.

It was nice to finally meet you and Luke and see everyone else again.

I'm in recovery today then we are going to explore New Orleans for a couple of days. This all started in Nashville last Friday when we saw The Kills, Saturday -laundry, packing, Sunday 8 hours of driving with 4 hours of poker, Monday Jack - Shreveport, Tuesday - 5 hour drive to New Orleans and Jack and a stroll down Bourbon St. Weds - Pain Pill and poolside ... Somehow I am going to see all of New Orleans on Thursday and Friday

I got Elvis Costello tickets at the Ryman in Nashville next !!!

Bourbon Street is sad and kind of interesting in a car wreck kind of way.
I hate seeing such young girls, barely legal working in those clubs, hanging out in the street .... I mean I'm a man and I like pretty girls but damn people got to have some morals don't they ?

All I saw was Tidy Bars, and dozens of margarita places selling stale pizza. Was offered some herb from what looked like an under cover police officer if I had to guess. One and done for Bourbon Street. Going to become a real tourist and we are going on some tours, ghost tour, voodoo, vampire tour, we are fixing to cross over to the dark side

I don't guess it was meant to be as far as me ever getting a pick ... But that's OK, I've given up. I have had way to good a seat at too many shows and such wonderful experiences to complain about anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
