I haven't been to the venue but know plenty that have. They did a full overhaul of the place a couple years back and it's supposed to be really pretty nice.. I'm excited about it.

JUST ONE DRINK
Jack’s back so we made some specials! First up good ol’ Spodie Odie; Wine, soda and fruit juice punch.

ROCK AND RYE WINTER WARMER
Seasoned hot toddy made with black tea, Slow and Low rye whiskey, lemon, clove; finished with a cinnamon stick.

THE WHITE STRIPES
Field Roast Italian vegetarian sausage dressed with sautéed onions, roasted red pepper and white cheddar cheese on a poppy-seed bun.

CUT LIKE A BUFFALO
House-made buffalo and Gruyere sausage dressed with fresh arugula, diced white onion and smoked tomato coulis.

CAROLINA DRAMA
Broken Arrow Ranch wild boar cutlet braised in milk dressed with red pepper ranch, fried onion rings, smoked black pepper goat cheese and a sweet potato mash.


I'm pretty excited about this. I have had some people mention wanting to meet up on Friday night and some mention meeting on the day of the show. Let me know when people want to meet and please spread the word about this. Frank is a great place and I would love to show them a good turnout. This would also be a great time to meet up with swirlers and put a face to the name. Just 4 days left!!!

very excited about this weekend…pretty sure it will be one for the books. frank definitely used their imaginations on the specials…a friday night pre-pre-party might be fun!

Also, a friend sent me this link. It's a Rob Jones exhibit that is going on in Austin right now. There are some pictures on EB and it looks like a pretty cool exhibit. Appears to be a lot of his JW related work there.

That's great. I'll definitely be going to this exhibit. Gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday, 1-6pm, or by appointment.

Can someone post to here if there is a decision to have a "meet up" of sorts? It would be cool to chat with some of you in town
