Re: This Jack White Show Was The Best - Lazaretto Edition
For me it is the RSD show just because of the worlds fastest record. That was a pretty awesome thing to be part of. I was also very lucky to get the pick that Jack used to play the first 5 songs (including the 2 for the worlds fastest record) and then I got a second pick that he specifically threw to me later in the show. Those two guitar picks are just icing on the cake for me when it comes to that whole experience.

I voted RSD because it's the only show I've seen so far. I'm sure others were better from what I've heard. If I had to guess which is best I'd say it's either Bonnaroo or Masonic.

Regarding the LA Show with John C Reily and Conan O'Brien, the show the night before at the Fonda was also good but I felt like that concert was like a greatest hit show like he only played songs body would know whereas at the Mayan show, he played what he felt like playing. He played like old Blunderbuss songs (the night before he played like 2 songs) and played some Dead Weather (he didn't do that the night before) and just felt like a real Jack White show. Overall I loved both of the shows but I like the Mayan more personally.

Why are the Detroit shows put together? I think they were both good shows, but the Masonic was on a whole different level than the fox. If they are both put together as a whole experience, then I think I am going to put RSD, which to me was one hell of an experience as well.

Bonnaroo was my favorite because I was there!
Also, there was a high stress/anxiety level onstage that made for a really electric experience. I've never seen any show like that. Just little moments like the tribal, holy SNA chant from the audience, or Dominic John Davis looking half crazed with these terror eyes above a feigned smile when he just didn't know what Jack wanted him to do. One moment he breaks into a Latin groove and Daru dives right in and Jack gives Dominic this "wtf" look, and muses afterward, "uh, that was a new song." I've never been front row for a JW show before, so that probably had a lot to do with it, but I don't think I'll ever see anything resembling that show again. Expecting more would make me feel greedy.

I liked Red Rocks but Shreveport still is my favorite of the shows I saw, followed closely by New Orleans. Wish I had more to compare too. I should have come to Detroit !!!

so like everybody else I think one of mine (seattle second night) was the best, but without being at more than two shows I cant really say
I did meet some folks who were following the tour and this was their 13th show of the tour, Id love to hear what they think

I can't believe the Chicago Theater show isn't even an option. That's as legendary as legendary gets.

Lots of votes for Vescovo. It was a "head fuck" experience. Totally mind blowing that I shared with many others on this forum. THEN we were entertained at the Hammy O gig on the following night, which was the BEST JayDub concert experience EVER. Looking forward to Leeds.
•<Jack White> we also want to come up with vault packages you don't like, a streaming service to make rich people richer, a t shirt
too big for you, and a bunch of shit you don't want but we're hold ing a gun to your head to purchase.

I would agree with this. I mean it should at least be a contender.frankb_2 wrote:I can't believe the Chicago Theater show isn't even an option. That's as legendary as legendary gets.
