Thanks for letting us know, and posting a link. I checked this section and didn't see any thread on it yet; and I also checked the TMR forum just in case there was a thread there. But I never would have thought to look in Jumble Jumble. It seems like it belongs here in the Jack White forum, since it's a story about Jack White. It is just an honorary title meant to attach some star power to RSD. It is aimed at generating buzz. Previous RSD Ambassador's include Iggy Pop and Ozzy Osbourne. They make a video to put on the RSD website and I think the rest is up to them. That would be great if he did take it more seriously - in a fun and creative way, of course. Maybe set a new standard for RSD ambassadors to live up to. It seems a bit similar in spirit to his title as Nashville's music ambassador to the world (or whatever that title actually was). But I'm not sure that he actually did anything 'official' in that role, other than receiving that funky award thing from the mayor.
