I read this and listened to the performance again. I think people are mishearing, "Fight me" in Love Interruption. Or maybe I'm wrong..
I agree it sounds like fight me to me.

Thank you Jack, for bringing the rock. Thank you Katy Perry for not singing and that dress.

This finale's pretty damned cool. Go, Tom Morello.

Blunderbuss - 0?

I'm a bit shocked. Quietly felt this was hands down the best album of the year. Maybe I'm just. too. close.

Quite a few music critics also felt it was the best album of the year. Too bad it didn't win, but oh well. It was nice that it got three nominations, anyway. Terrific performance with both bands on the biggest televised music show of the year, so that counts for a lot. That suit was just perfect, too - it reminded me of some of the more elaborate suits he wore on the GBMS tour. Haircut, also perfect.

It seems like The Black Keys and Mumford and Sons are those kinds of bands everyone seems to like so its not really surprising Jack didn't get a Grammy over them.

When you're underexposed to Jack White you can't help liking Black Keys and Mumford & Sons. Jack showed 'em what he was all about tonight. His best performance in a while, not much else he can do. Just give 'em the music, toss his guitar and walk away. I'm sure he turned a few virgin heads tonight.
