definitely not a squire hes playing, also not vintage because vintage fenders didn't have a serial number on the back of the headstock or a made in usa stamp, they were all made in usa

Is the Gretsch blue? I thought it was white or pearl. Either way, beautiful guitar.

Awesome instrument. He said in the vault chat room that he loves the tele for its blues tone. When asked about a Strat, he said they were played out. Both figuratively and literally. You'd loved the show at Workplay in Bham. He only used the triple jet for Dead Leaves and SS up until the first "who's jealous" riff. He played the first note and took it off, gave it to the tech, and plugged in the tele. When the tech brought it back, he waved them off. He didn't use it for the rest of the nite. Played the parlor acoustic(amazing the tone he gets from what is essentially a beginners guitar from way back. The. Again everything was made better way back. Two against one was a stand out on the Parlor) and tele. A tele was invented to play Ball & Biscuit! HBTB and Hello Operator were also great on the tele. jacks still jack. Even through a fender single coil! FYI, he used a Tele for some guitar parts and overdubs on Icky Thump! I Fell in love with a Tele a long time ago! Can you tell?

*Edit: thought leaving it just Chat would be confusing considering he played Chattanooga the nite before.*

I wish Jack played a Jazzmaster. It's my favorite electric and what I play. I guess one can dream.

Oh well, since this topic was forgotten...
Don't know if you guys noticed, but Jack's Tele now has a new (I guess) TV Jones neck pickup and both pickups, as well as the tuning pegs have now a white finish. IMO it looks better than ever!

^^ Wonder if that was done after he flung it across the stage at the Grammys.

Here's my son's Fender Squier Classic Vibe Tele '50s - vintage blond with tortoise pick guard.

He definitely changed the neck pickup from a single coil(blunderbuss tour) to a humbucker(lazaretto tour). I liked it better with the single coil, but still one of the sickest guitars of all time.
