I was listening to Take Me With You When You Go (TMWYWYG) today and it took my brain to an interesting place. I pictured the records singing this to the flippers.

It may not be a perfect fit, but I couldn't help but laugh. Thought I would share that with y'all.

Ok... well a new song turned up at Roseland last night... plenty of conjecture has it pegged to be the B-side to the Freedom@21 single

it all seems to make sense that these lyrics would be considered those of the Inaccessible Mystery

?Inaccessible Mystery Lyrics?
the morning is odd but
but leaving is odder too
the things you say
the things i do

your sister is worse
than you
but the things that i feel
theyre stronger for her than you

yeah i love her
i cant let go anymore
i love your sister
i cant let go anymore

its like looking in the mirror when i talk to her
i cant let go when i look at her

i dont care what her hair is made of
i dont care what her face is made of
i dont care what her skin is made of
i dont care what her fingers are made of
i dont care what color her eyes are
i dont care the things she says
i dont care all the things she does
i dont care what jokes she makes
i dont care what it looks like
what clothes she wears
how she stands in the air

never know that when im with im lovin you

i cant help it when im honest with you yeah
i cant help it so im honest with you .. uh
i cant help it but im honest with you

i wanted to make sure that these liner notes got dropped into this thread... if they are here on a previous page then i will edit this but for now

jack white

Blunderbuss

Dropping like feathers like flies like flocks of birds together

Even alone you can not stand still to tell tales under the weather
working keep the lever notch up teeth dont fall back

Up keep the lip face blue from the hold breath block
song yet sung kept coming out loud with the flag hung

Think of this, how can i get you to think of this song?
its some trick to make it stick to the ribs

Dig gets the dirt to the drum from the nails
truth gets the boost from the wind in the soils

People cry while you're laughing at them
friends die while your talking to them

Lovers lie while you're lying with them
how long is life supposed to be?

Would it kill you to wait so long?
One day mysterious, one day perfect, one day gone

III

Anyone have any idea what song this is? It sounds great in the live roseland Ballroom recording, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... fs#t=2099s

To my knowledge, none of us who were there recognized it (of the group I was with and folks I talked with afterward on the forums/Vault chat/etc). I asked the people working the soundboard about it as I was leaving that night and they didn't know what it was, and I've searched Google for the lyrics. Nada. Unless someone knows something about it and isn't stepping forward to tell the rest of us, it remains unknown. Personally, I love the idea of it being something off the top of his head. That night at Roseland was so weird that it wouldn't surprise me.

No problem. I've lost count of how many times I've listened to that song. I'm torn between wanting to know what it is and wanting it to remain a mystery.

I always imagined "Hypocritical Kiss" was a broken couple singing to each other . . . the first 4 verses "sung" by him, the last 4 "sung" by her . . .

From the first spin to this very day, still my very favorite song on this album, and one of JW's absolute finest.

I think Jack mentioned in a few interviews that the perspective of that song changes a couple of times between male and female.
