It plays for me in Firefox, but I had some buffering issues.
Anyone recognize the guitar he's playing? Is that by any chance his Gibson L1?

Awesome video. I'm really glad Brooke Waggoner is in it, because she's really great.

Played fine for me in Google Chrome. Simple video, but appropriate. Nice.

Finally got to see it. I think that's all I'll say about it.

Re: Love Interruption Video
the video is on the TMR homepage for people with region problems like myself.
the only thing that bothered me was the chick playing a bass clarinet in the video when it sounds like a normal clarinet in the song....

Jack actually talked about that somewhere she played not regular clarinet and bass clarinet on the single the bass clarinet was the only instrument overdubbed later.love_islander wrote:the video is on the TMR homepage for people with region problems like myself.

I loved the video... simple, vintage, and retro but yet powerful and moving...

Re: Love Interruption Video
What I don't like is that it's Jack's SOLO debut and the other singer seemed to get more screen time..
I mean it doesn't really matter but one thing that has ALWAYS bugged me about solo efforts is that there always seem to be more musicians in them than there are in regular bands yet they put a lot of emphasis on "Solo" album.
ie. this song has 4 people in it, that's the same number that Jack has ever performed with in any of his bands.

I don't know man, I thought the video was kind of weak sauce as far as videos go, which isn't very far with me. It needed something more artful and symbolic or at least interesting, like the lyrics. Nice looking performance and aesthetic though.

Re: Love Interruption Video
That might be the point of it, though-- The music is soft and gentle, the video is dreamy and simple, but those lyrics... By keeping the other two elements low-key, the words stand out that much more.7th_son wrote:It needed something more artful and symbolic or at least interesting, like the lyrics.
