At the Ryman I got a light blue slip mat, which I was told is a variant, 6 at each show, handed out randomly. Pretty cool. The normal ones are dark blue or black, kind of colored blind.

No, it sounds like they are saying there is a light blue one and a regular one, which is black. They just couldn't decide if it was black or dark blue by looking at it at the show.
Has everything you said today been true?
