I can't be the only one who was getting tired of all the twang from the Lazaretto crew.
Yes, these two groups could have both churned out some more country songs, but I'm just happy there's a new dynamic.
That whole disingenuous southern accent he puts on in Acoustic In Idaho just makes me cringe.

Now, now, I didn't say they musicians were all necessarily new, but the musicians as a whole.
Plus, I fucking love Carla and I'm so happy she's back on the kit.

My first thought was; "Huh. He's not touring. Two different cities and two different bands. Could there be more? A band per city? Is that the gimmick this time around? I kind of hope of not. Let's see where this goes."
