So anyone but me think that it would be incredibly awesome if they did a Raconteurs/Jeff split for the Ryman show???

I think it would be killer if they played some tunes together, but unless they recorded something a month ago, I don't think there's enough time to put out a split record. My understanding is that it takes a minimum of 6 weeks to put out just the vinyl for a release, not to mention the printing of the sleeve etc.

Im sure they could get some pull and get a release ready in 4 weeks?

Maybe they'll go hipster and release it on cassette! Or better yet 8 track.... My first thought was they were taking pics for the cover of a future Blue Series 7" record. Or maybe doing a special performance for a Vault-Only video release. There hasn't been any exclusive Vault content since the WS show was put up and I can't remember the last exclusive video before that....
