You wouldnt think making this announcement would have anything to do with any events going on since the order process is a fully automated process and their web guy isn't likely required at the Kerr event, in the event traffic takes down the site. But they're a small family, so who knows. It is kind of funny though, An annoucement of an announcement, followed by an announcement that the announced announcement won't be announced until tomorrow, followed by no announcement yet at noon the day the re-announcement was announced to be announced.

Did I miss any steps in there?

Not exclusive enough. Rough unscientific estimate of the number of Maiden picture discs I've seen in shops: 7,947,500. Give or take a few.
