I tend to stick with LPs and 45s, or just records. I don't like the word vinyl for some reason, makes me thing of the material instead.

i don't know why people get so upset over "i could care less". it's sarcasm. like "i could care less, but i don't".

Why not just say it correctly, i.e. "I couldn't care less"?

i usually do. but people have different understandings of phrases like that. what really drives me nuts is when people say "could of", when they write "your" instead of "you're" or when they use the wrong 'there'.

Sometimes, I really could care less. I care a little so obviously there's room for improvement in caring less.

But really this is super off topic and I know better.....

I am watching the White Heat DVD right now. They should have added a tagline that reads "Filmed in Vom-o-vision!"
Hyperbole used for effect!

For those who wanted the lego Jack and Meg:

At the end Jack is saying he wanted to do it, but Lego said no..

Don't know if it's posted already

That word would be "records". You don't buy a vinyl, you buy a vinyl record.
The plural of vinyl IS vinyl. Like, "I went to TMR and bought a ton of vinyl."

Vinyl what, though? Vinyl flooring? Vinyl siding? One of these?--

Vinyl is a material that things are made from. TMR doesn't sell vinyl, they sell records made from vinyl.
