There's a lengthy discussion about this somewhere here but I sure as hell can't find it using the search or browsing. Maybe it's buried in another thread. If someone finds it, let me know and we can join the two thread for the ultimate power in the universe!

More Vinyl is always nice. Or maybe a slipmat. As long as it isn't a T-Shirt, I like it.

Why are we calling it a mystery item we know what it is before we get it.

Actually that would be really cool.

More realistically I just want more vinyl. Also it looks like I may be in the minority, but I don’t want a slip mat as my turntable doesn’t need one (and sounds worse with one).

I think because we don't know what it is until it is announced. We will always get an LP and a 7", but the third item changes from package to package.

Perhaps "miscellaneous" is a better term.

The plural of Lego is either 'Lego' or 'Lego bricks'. Carry on.

I can't have 2 "Lego". You Brits, it's "Legos".

The individual bricks aren't called "Lego", you can't have a single Lego. Lego is the company name and the individual Lego pieces are called bricks. You either play with Lego, the brand, or you play with Lego bricks, the individual pieces. The only way Legos would be correct is if you were refering to multiple companies named Lego. This isn't just a British thing, it's confirmed by Lego themselves, although they go so far as to request people type it in all caps and use the trademark symbol each time too.
