That word would be "records". You don't buy a vinyl, you buy a vinyl record.

Records are made from vinyl. If you buy a bunch of records you also bought a bunch of vinyl. It's kind of a slang term for record if you will. The original question was, what is the plural of vinyl. Vinyl is...........

Really, who cares what you call it. personally I hate when people call it vinyl (though I catch myself saying it once in a while), I much prefer the terms records, LPs, singles, 45s, 33s, 12"s, 7"s... Vinyl is one of those terms to refer to records that drives me a little crazy, I don't know many long time collectors (who have been collecting since before CDs) who call it vinyl...

Okay, enough with the plurals. It was fun while's it lasted, lets focus on the topic at hand please.

I'd love an extra piece of vinyl.

Here are some ideas:

-Unreleased interview of Jack, The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, or The Black Belles on a 7" or 12"
-New single by JW on a 7" or 12"
-A collection of unheard covers from JW or The White Stripes on a 12"
-Demos written after Icky Thump on a 12"

These are just some ideas. Feel free to criticize.

Also, I thought some of the other ideas were cool as well. I wouldn't mind getting the nesting dolls, the Lego FILWAG action figures, or the TMR slipmat.

1. Take any three live shows with the same set list, or maybe different set lists, any Racs/TDW shows and put them on the same record in three parallel grooves! Maybe they can call it a Triple Groove Record or something.
Is it practically possible?

2. Something personalised would be cool too. Maybe a sticker or a patch with the members' real names on it.

3. Pins! Lots of pins! Assorted pins!
Or have a bunch of different designed pins and randomly place each type of pin in different packages. And they won't tell us how many or which designs are there so members would have to search out different pins!
