Vault #26 (Pre-Announcement Discussion)

Post by Coma16 »

Seems like most of the VP-25 have been shipped so we're probably a week away from the announcement.

I skipped the past 2 VPs so I'm hoping that I like this one enough to shell out funds (the exchange still sucks atm).

Any guesses or wishes?

I'm hoping it is something pretty 'special' because it's going to likely ship around Christmas. I can't imagine it would be something from WS or DW already. Maybe a Raconteurs pack? It's been a few years since we got that live record/dvd from them. Maybe something recorded exclusively for the Vault?

My guesses by percentage:

Something White Stripes related: 25%
Something Jack White solo related: 25%
Something Dead Weather or Raconteurs related: 5%
Something from another Third Man artist: 15%
Something no one will see coming: 30%

My best guess? Jack White live from Fargo. It was the last show and was streamed over Tidal.

And it's still viewable at both Tidal and the Vault. Why on earth would it go into a Vault package?

A spoken-word analogy. A three way between Jack, Dylan and Conan.

Now THAT could be Vault worthy. I might subscribe for extras of that.

Because some of us would love to have it on vinyl.

My bets:
- JW Final Concert(s) LP/DVD

- The Upholsterers 7"/LP/EP/ANYTHINGWILLDO
- JW B-shows LP(I won't give up on this one)
- JW Live at TMR Vol. II (I wish)
- Some old WS recordings 7"
- JW + Jay-Z Ray Bans 7" (I wish x2)
A Woman is more powerful than a man and this I know, and I think that you know this too.
