Beautiful package, but as always, abhorrent pressing courtesy of URP. It's got more clicks and noise than the used stuff I pick up at my local shop.

First of all, beautiful package. Absolutely love the content.

Unfortunately, like a lot of others, my LPs are both warped. On the 'bad side' it's about 5mm (similar to rsimms video, but less side to side movement) which is maybe reduced to 2mm with a clamp. I HATE being a moaner, and have felt like that's the way TMR have seen it when I returned previous LPs (twice out of maybe 15 deliveries).

On the other hand, how are pressing plants going to improve QC unless they receive complaints from their customers like TMR - it's basically letting them away with it. Plus, it's quite a lot of money to pay for warped records.

I'm sure it's been discussed before, but does anyone think anything other than minor warping is acceptable? I think 1-2mm might need to be 'acceptable' with <180g vinyl - I get vinyl that looks flat maybe 1 in 4 times. It's not just TMR either, one of my other favourite labels I seem to have received a lot of warped vinyl from too (also <180g, usually limited colours/splatters, etc). It's so annoying when the music's so great but the product falls short. How do you decide when to ask for a replacement?

Sometimes the quality issues make me want to cancel my sub, but the content is so damn good I just can't bring myself to do it!!!

Do you noticed that the tracklist on the LP are different from the DVD. It's the same show but it miss some songs like Black Math, LoveSick or My Doorbell, on the DVD.

After seeing Jack perform live for the first time last night, woke up this morning to this package at my doorstep. Couldn't be happier in any possible way. Love the LP, the 7"(LIKE FOR REAL), the whole artwork, the details in portuguese, the monkey pin, the postcards and the poster. Every single detail of it is stunning! TMR's top of the game.

Because the DVD is the same as the MTV broadcast minus the station ID burned in. You'll also notice that "We Are Going To Be Friends" isn't on the LP since they played it acoustic to the crowd outside.

Also, the video was encoded in 4:3 aspect ratio, meaning if you are using a modern TV you either have to zoom the picture or watch it window boxed. Wouldn't have taken much to crop it prior to making the DVD so it was the correct full screen aspect ratio. The only thing you are really gaining with this new DVD over the bootleg is a slightly better picture without logos. I hope the UK folks aren't having problems with the frame rate since it's NTSC or did they provide PAL versions to UK folks?....anyone?

I've never had a problem with previous DVDs, so I expect this one to be fine.

Ok, thank you for informations.

Yes I was surprise with "We Are Going To Be Friends". Crazy moment, people were so excited to see Jack White. Poor bodyguard, it was a nightmare I think.

Haven't popped the DVD in yet but there's a chance it was shot in 4:3. I'd MUCH rather have a full screen image than a cropped 16:9 one. Now it'd be even worse if they shot it in 16:9 and cropped to 4:3 for broadcast which might be the case.

Can't complain because the packages for 22 and 23 are exquisite but minute details hold them back. Lossy audio on the Roo DVD and now an incomplete performance in 23...

I like how the LPs and DVD aren't the exact same. Gives more of a reason to watch the DVD.

Huge kudos to the mailing service for managing to deliver my package while the package slip got lost!
Listening to the LPs right now

At least it wasn't €30,40. This might be my last subscription for now.
I'm paying $110 for these coming straight from TMR..
