Post by maxman142001 »

Continuing our pattern of making sure Nashvillians of good taste don't get a moment of rest, we are pleased to announce another addition to this month's calendar. Divine Fits is comprised of Britt Daniel (frontman of Spoon) and bandmates Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade), Sam Brown (from Ohio punk legends Gaunt ) and Alex Fischel. Join us Monday night in the Blue Room, doors at 7, show at 8, for the live taping of their performance. We've been trying to get these guys here it seems like from day one of their inception and we're really excited to host them here for this live recording / performance. JOIN US.

Tickets purchased online can be picked up at will call beginning at 7pm the night of the show.

This kills me I'm a huge Dan Broekner fan. Enjoy all you nashville dudes.

Damn!!!! Being a huge fan of Wolf Parade, Spoon, Handsome Furs and Divine Fits I'm super bummed This wasn't announced a while ago and I could have made plans to go down. If you are able to make it, don't miss these guys. I saw them in a nice small club here in Toronto in December and loved every second of it. They're brilliant!
Hey, it's just a fucking record. Chill.

Heard of them but never listened to any of their music. Either way, the wife and I will be down there with two friends of ours that are new to concert-going.

Well shit, the two friends that were going with my wife and I might be backing out. Not that tickets are sold out, but any chance someone needs two tickets and hasn't bought theirs yet?

Very good show. Damn good show. Glad I went. Should make for a great live TMR release. They recorded to tape this time. Interesting.......I guess. Not sure why. The acoustics in that place are awesome, concerts are loud and clear.

What was with the piñata?
