USA Today is excited about this-- http://www.usatoday.com/story/popcandy/ ... t/2440885/

And...
(By the way, could someone please offer Jack White his own interview series?)
No shit! I'd go back to Comcast if I had to in order to watch that.

When i first saw it i was like wait that's not the blue room lol. But it looks like that's what they did but i haven't seen any info about it. Anyone else see anything about where they actually recorded this at TMR?

It was recorded in the building next door.

Yeah, it was mentioned in one of the first articles that came out about this. It was recorded in the new building at TMR, which is their warehouse. Apparently TMR offered the Blue Room, but the folks from CMT liked the setting in the warehouse better.

I don't know how I managed to miss this.
It's strange, I had just come home from buying tickets to a Willie Nelson concert when I saw the posting on TMR about the show.
I had noticed Willie hadn't had one of those celebrity-filled, televised, birthday shindigs like he had on his 60th & 70th b-days, I could
never have imagined this though.
I've often hoped Willie would somehow make it to Third Man, much like I hoped Radiohead would, shit, all Jack needs to do is convince Sonic Youth to
get back together and make a record, and I could die happy.

Probably not until after it airs on Sunday.
