seasick alone would be amazing
and i'm sure nobody whom attended was disappointed. Saw Seasick Steve about a month ago out here in la.... best $15 show of my life... hell, would've easily paid more..... he did a 2 fuckin hour set man....2 hours!!!
the drummer is the same guy from his older days.....same drummer seen in the jools holland performances.
the other guy he brings out on guitar is a musician (forgive me for not knowing his name) that he met recently (right before the LA show) at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in SF.
Great, great, and great show. Promise Land was good too. Seasick Steve was awesome. The sound was really good as well. He rocked that joint pretty hard. His show and the 5,6,7,8's are my favorite two shows (non Jack)
His drummer is really good and hell the other guitarist that joined was pretty damn good too. Not to mention Allison. Fricking great show !! Best $10 spent ever.
Got lucky and bought a Dex Romweber Duo with Jack Bizzarro out of the chair. Never knew I would own that. I sure have scored some quality vinyl lately !
Thanks TMR for a great time. I had a blast.
Forget what you see
And what you thought was true
It's not really me
Speaking to you Brendan Benson
"Rock and Roll mother fuckers do you speak it?" hawke000
Was so lonesome I could cry played/recorded? When I saw steve play in london that brought the house down...never have I heard an audience be so perfectly silent, just listening. If it's going to be on this LP I'll buy it just for that.
Up all night at The best show yet.
Promisedland IS awesome.
And Steve with Guest were amazing.
Ears still ringing.
Crowd was great
the Remodel was also.
This will be the record to have.
