Anyone thinking a Jack performance is possible? Something to do with the new record?

Will Jack White be performing at the show?
o Jack White is the host of our concert. He is not one of the artists in the line-up to
perform.

Re: 333 ft underground concert
When has Jack ever upstaged an artist he was trying to promote? There's certainly a chance he might join one of the other acts for a song, but I'd be surprised if he'd steal the limelight from these musicians by suddenly filling the stage with his own band and taking over the venue for his own surprise show.

It doesn't say he will not be preforming....just that he isn't on the lineup.
He also wasn't on the lineup for the TMR 3rd anniversary show but he debuted blunderbus there.

Not only was the show free (aside from the cost of a plane ticket and a hotel room), but the poster they gave us at the end was free, too-- https://www.flickr.com/photos/28108918@ ... 6759687760

Re: 333 ft underground concert
Not a lot of info around here on the show. Nobody else go?
I don't mean to be a downer but this whole show totally screams TMR. Just a big "novelty" way to get people to listen to mediocre to average music.

So the audience full of people who gave all four musicians standing ovations all have crappy taste in music?arewhyehen wrote:Just a big "novelty" way to get people to listen to mediocre to average music.

Re: 333 ft underground concert
Would you have driven/flown to Nashville for this show if it wasn't in the bottom of a cave? No. That's my point. I think the idea is cool, but I guess I am just getting tired of all the novelty things TMR is doing. It's getting to the point that it's cheesy and not so much about the music anymore.Kali Durga wrote:So the audience full of people who gave all four musicians standing ovations all have crappy taste in music?arewhyehen wrote:Just a big "novelty" way to get people to listen to mediocre to average music.
