Not that it did any good!
Cuts both ways, pun intended. :) Depends on your definition, etc.

After seeing the movie I remember thinking Tarantino hasn't really improved much at his craft since Reservoir Dogs, he's just getting a bigger budget for toys. Gutted to hear this.
-- So I just heard the clip from the movie again. If it made the 7" collection that would be quite an exercise in schadenfreude.

I'd like to know what is so inhospitable about the case. Is there no protection from the bullet holes?

From what i can tell, in the promo pictures it shows a cardboard divider between the records and the front portion of the case where the metal would be protruding into the box.

Owning both the standard and the box-set, I've got to say that I favor the LP edition (standard or variant) to the singles version.
You get the breathing room with the LP, the artwork, the soft touch sleeve, the posters and such, and of course the dialogue!
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my singles set, but I don't see it getting nearly as much play as either LP edition will.
As a matter of fact, if these are still available a month from now, I'll likely pull the trigger on a second.

Looks to me it's the same as the lp in the box, so with all those posters etc inside it.

+1. Can anyone confirm if there are any differences at all. They seem to ship to europe for $9.

Looks to be the be the exact same as the standard LP you can purchase from any store.
The one that came with the box set was the one with the variant artwork, the eight on the outside and the Tarantino spread within.

Isn't this the standard lp artwork?

Yeah but I swear I have seen a picture with, the blue hills with lodge, and the white snow with the horses side by side on a shelf in a store.
With the white snow+horses being advertised as the TMR variant. Which is still not the same as artwork as the one in the box, but does have the posters etc inside.
Which means the blueish one is the standard non-TMR release? :?

Edit the pictures I have seen:

No.
Blood splattered cover is TMR standard.
Blue cover is Verve variant or standard.

Also, the TMR release was $25, seems to be $33 from Amoeba even though it's still available from TMR.

As far as I know only two pressings of this vinyl. TMR and Decca.
I'm pretty sure what verve is marketing there is the european standard copy, which I don't recommend. The pressing from TMR is ought to be much better.

Why do you say TMR pressing better than European? On what basis? United Pressing has it's moments
