If there were 300 of these made and there is a TP in each of them, that doesn't make sense. They just slapped a TP label on the standard version. Doesn't make them limited at all, just another basic version. Tricksters!

If there is 300 total divided by 6 different records then there is about 50 of each.....sounds pretty limited to me.tcjohnny1 wrote:If there were 300 of these made and there is a TP in each of them, that doesn't make sense. If you got one and are unhappy Ill gladly buy it from you at cost (or willing to pay less if it is "not worth if for the cost.)tcjohnny1 wrote:Still def not worth it for the cost and wait time alone. Lackluster.....

I haven't really heard of any of these bands...What one is "most desired"?
It's too bad Eagles of Death Metal backed out...I would have definitely been after one of those..

Test pressings are not what they used to be.Stl_ben wrote:If there is 300 total divided by 6 different records then there is about 50 of each.....sounds pretty limited to me.tcjohnny1 wrote:If there were 300 of these made and there is a TP in each of them, that doesn't make sense. Sure 50 is limited but for a test pressing that many copies would be a joke.
Just a contrived and limited novelty in my book.
Worth zilch to me but I'd surely flip the he'll out of it if I had one.
Love the box and records though.

Re: desert gold tp poll
I think the TP was a nice gift for waiting. I would sell it and save that much money on the box.
I do agree 50 of each is a lot of TP.
As a matter of fact many labels are selling more TP of albums than ever. I think there should be 5 or less, maybe 10 at the most. But a TP does not have the allure that they use to !!!
Too many now !
