I was expecting the Elvis single to be released in a set of 3 like other sun reissues.
Will definitely be interesting to compare with the 78 though.

So has anyone else listened to the 78 and the 45 back-to-back yet? The re-mastering makes a dramatic difference.

Yes, there is a big difference. Aside from the large crackles around the spoken part of "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" the pops and crackles that you can hear on the 78 are faint to inaudible. The 45 also seems to have less depth, too, sounds a bit flatter than the 78.
