What brand of cigarettes do you smoke?
Camel Lights or “Camel Blues” as some marketing wiz recently re-dubbed them.
Are you a coffee drinker if so what brand?
My drink of choice is Luzianne sweet iced tea. I only drink coffee if I have to stay up past 18 hours.
Do you ever get prank calls from listing your number on your website?
Nope.
What is on your turntable right now?
Woody Allen: Standup Comic
What is the last movie you watched and what is it?
Last night I watched Our Man in Havana starring Sir Alec Guinness and directed by Carol Reed who also helmed The Third Man. It doesn’t take much convincing to get me to watch a film with Alec in it.
Which of the original Stars Wars Movies is your favorite and why?
When I was a kid, Jedi because it had the most muppets in it. As an adult it’s Empire for all the reasons most folks prefer Empire over the rest.
How many times did Han Solo use a light saber in the movies?
Once, when slicing open his freshly expired Taun-Taun.
Would you consider doing a commissioned communist propaganda style print for my dog’s bid for presidency?
No.
If you could go back in a time machine to any gig what would it be and why?
A good Misfits gig I guess so I could see them. Maybe that New Orleans show when the band and some fans got cuffed for grave-robbing.
Is global warming real?
There’s a climate change a happenin’, but I don’t have kids so I don’t really concern myself with it.
Will the world end in 2012?
I wish.
Do you miss Nashville? And do you think you will ever move out of Austin?
I recall Nashville fondly. If I escape Austin, then I would follow the siren call of friends and family towards Atlanta or Savannah.
Do you like your steak burnt to a crisp or bloody as hell?
Burnt as it makes the fat taste better.
Favorite female vocalist?
Alison Mosshart, Amanda Palmer, and Jessica Harper
John Lennon or Paul McCartney?
Pete Townsend
Better child actor Gary Coleman or Emanuel Lewis?
I guess Gary Coleman. I never ponied up $3.50 to see an Emanuel Lewis movie at the theatre.
Do you own a beta max player and do you still use it?
No. Out of concerns for space, my wife pressured me to concede my VHS tape collection. I only kept all my Cary Grant movies, music videos, and whatever I feared never getting a dvd release “Joshua Then and Now”.
If I saw a betamax copy of “Cruising” with a box in decent shape, I’d probably buy that to keep my Selctavision disc of “Cruising” company.
