White Swirl

All right! The moment we've all been waiting for! The Capones second album, Drop the Crown, is complete & mastered, and we're pretty darn happy with how it turned out! So we've teamed up with our good friend Nick Gagnon and his new label Fonoflo Records to get this album in your hands. Starting next Tuesday (March 10th, 2015), Fonoflo is hosting a Kick Starter campaign to help us release this record on vinyl. There will be some pretty cool pledge packages, but we'll leave that info for Tuesday (to keep y'all guessing). Needless to say, we will need the help and generosity of you all, our fans, to make this project a success.

All right. A little update here - we're still in this. We're down by 9 votes at the moment, so it's gonna be super close.

So to make it worth your while - we decided to put a little contest together! Anybody that votes will get thrown into a draw for a copy of our first gig poster (18"x24"). It will be signed by the band & is hand numbered and signed by the artist (Swirlville's own Mr. Obliquitous)! There were only 21 of these beauties printed! Just post here saying you voted & PM me your name so we can confirm on Facebook. Of course if you already voted - you'll be entered - shoot me a PM.

Hey folks! We were winning for the first few days, but one band had a huge surge yesterday, and it looks like we ended up 2nd (out of 20 Alberta bands that entered). The band that beat us has played together for over 6 years, has a good size local following & has played stadium shows, so we're pretty happy with how we did!

We've played together for less than a year, and only have a couple songs recorded (more in the very near future - so stay tuned!).
