...strange coincidence....I found a four track Bella Union 10" Christmas sampler with a Philip Selway track on it (The Witching Hour - live). I was just searching for some info on it when I read this.

Nice! How was the packing for shipping? I really hope they packed it insanely well for international travel...

Mine was just a standard pizza box, no extra cardboard or anything.

Stanley Donwood has some new prints for sale

http://atinywebshop.com/

Is the bag the vinyl comes in very metallic looking
or is it like a resealable food bag?

It's difficult to describe ... It's sort of translucently metallic, with "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" written on it in bright green letters. Fancy sandwich bag does sort of come to mind. The actual sleeve and inner are really nice though.

Sigh
Sandbag is the worst.

Instagram is full of pictures of the record.
Looks pretty good.

If IR really sold that much the it really holds its resale value at a pretty decent price range.

For those of you who faun over Radiohead
here is an article comparing them to the Beatles

http://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/how- ... st-century

So much credit given to the band you'd think
they invented all modern music forms ...

Thom is a true genius of our time, the more I listen to this record the more and more depth comes to the surface and shows itself. So beautiful

^^An interesting article with an interesting quote...

J.Greenwood - "We've certainly changed our method again," he said of the Radiohead recording. "It's too involved [to explain how]. We're kind of limiting ourselves; working in limits. So we'll see what happens. It's like we're trying to use very old and very new technology together to see what happens."

^^Reminds me of the work that Radiohead did at Third Man Records. Could that be something we see on the new album? Will TMR have anything to do with its release? I am curious to know exactly what 'working in limits' means.

Old article and quote below:

http://pitchfork.com/news/46806-radiohe ... -confirms/

J.White - "I don't know how much to tell about. I didn't play with them or produce it, but they came and recorded at Third Man, and I don't know what else they want to be said about that so that's probably all I can say!"

..let the speculation begin!

Most probably the Record Booth?

I'm excited for the other record though. I hope by 'Indian music' they mean Rajasthani folk music and not Bollywood crap

I saw Jonny perform with the London Contemporary Orchestra in Oxford last week, and for the opening piece ("Miniature") Jonny was playing a sitar. It was dead good.
