Someone posted elsewhere that they thought there were tracks pressed into the labels a la Sea of Cowards . . .

General admission at the Verizon Center in DC is $110 a pop.

I'm out.

that is high, but if they were playing a smaller theater around here I would gladly pay it... I probably wouldn't go see them at the American Airlines Center if I had a free ticket...

+1

I seriously hope this tour crashes. They are charging too much and playing too large of venues...period.

NOT BAD?!?!?

Man, I guess I'm just not with it. Only people that I feel can charge that much are legendary acts. Such a shame that this is the norm now.

This band is maybe getting too big.
Either they ask too much to play a show or the promoters are taking advantage of their success.
I believe it is the 1st rather than the 2d reason.

so back to the music... what do you all think of the new album? I've listened to it about 5 times now and I have to say that with the exception of a few songs... I like it. It's not my favorite album, but it's not one that I will constantly pass over and never listen to again. Still has some bluesy undertones and a lot of electronic influence but I think they pulled it off for the most part. If tickets weren't so pricey at Barclays I would have bought tickets... so I'll just hope they play a smaller show somewhere down the road.
