Pearl Jam covered "Want You So Hard" at a few of the shows I saw. Audio quality sucks on this video.

Just bought tickets to see them in Lisbon, Portugal. Hoping to get tickets to the Paris show when the remaining tickets go on sale. If not, I might go to Budapest and see them as well. Anyone else catching a few shows?

I posted this in the Pearl Jam thread as well. PJ is releasing their version of the EODM song above for charity. http://www.pearljam.com/news/0/1/22827/ ... it_forward
In the aftermath of the horrific and senseless terrorist attacks on Paris on November 13, 2015, Eagles Of Death Metal asked its musical family to extend the victims of the Paris attacks the same kindness and compassion that everyone from the members of U2 to the French authorities had shown the band—to Play It Forward: EODM asked artists the world over to cover “I Love You All The Time” from its current album Zipper Down. For every cover sold, the band pledged to donate 100% of its publishing income to The Sweet Stuff Foundation, the non-profit organization founded in 2013 by EODM co-founder Joshua Homme to provide assistance to musicians and their families in times of need, as well as musical education and gear for the next generation. Participating artists were also asked to donate the money generated from sales of the song to the charity.

Pearl Jam and drummer Matt Cameron join Eagles of Death Metal to Play It Forward by releasing two EODM covers to benefit the victims of the November 13th terrorist attack in Paris and the family of fallen EODM crew member Nick Alexander.

Tracks:
Pearl Jam "Want You So Hard" (Recorded Live at Estadio Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro, BR. Nov 22, 2015)
Matt Cameron "I Love You All The Time"

A digital bundle of both songs goes live at 9am PT on Friday, December 18 at www.pearljam.com.
A pre-order of the vinyl version of these songs goes live at that same time at www.pearljam.com.

All proceeds from the sale of these tracks will benefit the Paris attack victims and Nick Alexander’s family via The Sweet Stuff Foundation.

Matt Cameron explains: “After reading Josh Homme’s email encouraging fellow musicians to cover EODM’s “I Love You All the Time,” I was very inspired to act quickly, so I recorded a version on a night off from tour in Mexico City in my hotel room, 11-27-2015, 8pm-12am. I am honored to be a part of this movement of unity and support. We’ll never stop.”

Has anyone seen any info or know when the extra tickets go on sale for the new Paris show?? I know anyone at the first show is entitled to a free ticket, but this new venue is a bit larger so there should be some spare tickets.

It's the only date on their site that doesn't show a button to buy tickets. When you click details it says ticket status: buy now..but it's not clickable. There isn't even any info on the Olympia venue website for it...

Looks like I will be going to France in a few weeks for the return of EODM to Paris. Bought my tickets and booked my flights and hotel tonight.

I am very disappointed I will be missing the DFA 1979 and EODM tour in Canada this summer, as I will be in Ireland still, but I know this Paris show will be very special after everything that has happened.

DFA and EODM are two of my favourite bands...I suggest anyone who is able to make the tour dates, do so....both bands put on an unreal show....especially DFA.

New dates added in Canada with Death from Above 1979 and Eagles of Death Metal. There is one show in Columbus that doesn't have EODM, but rather Glorious Sons. They are another Canadian band that I love and will be very big, very soon. Go see them when you can.

Death From Above 1979:

04-26 Port Coquitlam, British Columbia - PNE Forum *
04-28 Edmonton, Alberta - Shaw Conference Centre *
04-29 Calgary, Alberta - Grey Eagle Casino and Bingo Centre *
04-30 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - O’Brians Event Centre *
05-01 Winnipeg, Manitoba - Burton Cummings Theatre *
05-04 London, Ontario - London Music Hall *
05-05 Québec, Québec - Virgin Mobile Corona Theatre *
05-06 Hamilton, Ontario - Hamilton Convention Centre *
05-08 Québec, Québec - L’Impérial Bell *
05-20 Columbus, OH - Rock on the Range *^

* with Eagles of Death Metal
^ with The Glorious Sons

Lucky you, are going to go see them in Paris and Lisbon. Be sure to tell us all about the shows.

I wish I could go, I was just about to get tickets for the Munich show when I heard about the Paris attacks and realized it was them who played at the Bataclan that night.
They will be in Munich again on the 18th, but I will be up close to Berlin those days, I was really hoping they would do a show in Berlin. Too bad really.
Does anyone know if Homme will tour with them this time?

Yeah, used to be Joey; not sure who it is these days. Besides, Josh will be out with Iggy soon.

Fixed. He played drums when I saw them open for the Strokes about 8 years ago. And he has done a handful of shows here and there since.

Yes, this is why I was thinking that he might play on some shows due to what has happened in Paris.

Would a nice treat for the fans if he appears on the Paris show, and they bring out a live album.

Remember when EODM asked for bands and artists to record I love you all the time?

This norwegian band just made a country version.

And the B-side is their version of What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding by Nick Lowe!

Really cool! And great packaging.

Where can one get it?

It was Julian Dorio on drums this tour. Josh said that he will be touring with EODM as much as his schedule will allow him during the rescheduled shows. I would be very surprised if he didn't play at the Paris show, but I won't get my hopes up. Both the Paris and Lisbon shows I am going to are well before his Iggy tour so fingers are crossed...
