Re: DEAD WEATHER- Hand Painted TMR-001 Cover Thread
Well well well. Remember Vault package 17. At the end of the month (for subscription), they added a little bonus with Jack White autograph on the VP. It's pretty sure that's because there wasn't enough people to buy the VP. Maybe it's the same thing for the 25. They try to get more people for this one with this stupid contest.

It's all about album sales. I'm sure they've taken the proper steps to count VP sales as album sales for the new record. Prince was the master, selling CDs with his concert tickets so each ticket sale = an album sale. Inverted bolt? Sale ploy to break the vinyl sales record.

Why so much negativity towards this? It's a free chance for everyone who was going to sign up for this anyway to possibly get a $2000+ record.

I wonder how many people are creating friends who don't exist.

I don't know how to explain. A contest at the end of the month. The month of a new VP package. People can win more points if their friends buy the vault package. Maybe this new vault package isn't enough exciting for people and TMR haven't many buyers. So ... by a magic power, a new handpainting appears. Coincidence ? I don't think, really don't.Jamie wrote:What bad feeling?Mick III wrote:Because even if we are fans, we can open ours eyes and see the bad feeling of this contest. IMPOV.

I hope the cover looks really cool. Hard to judge by a mock up. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised !
Also wish they would forget about black wisp - never turns out good. Again hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
If I win the hand painted I will turn double back flips.
All 230 pounds
I'm not bitching it's new Dead Weather !!!
I will miss Jack touring but will be real happy if he keeps putting out new music

Re: DEAD WEATHER- Hand Painted TMR-001 Cover Thread
Even if they are trying to increase sales, what's wrong with a record company trying to sell more records anyway?
And with vault contests and the platinum store people outside the US get a chance to win something too - which doesn't happen otherwise now that they sell most limited variants in-store or by the RRS.
