Fall tour?

Ok, not sure if it's unfounded (likely) or I have missed something; is the appearance of The Racs @ MIfest a kick-off of a tour for them or a one off? I ask because I've seen it mentioned here and there on facecrack, by fans, but no one official.
I knew (based on previous info) that they were going to be back at it, but have yet to see/hear anything confirmed about a tour.

In the MI-Fest thread someone posted a message from Benson's FB that said this was the only show they were doing in 2011.

lol I most certainly am DYING to go (my favorite TMR band!!)- that's not a question- but the money factor invloved is the concern.

I have got a new job on the horizon. Perhaps that will make it possible.

Time will tell.

We have not been on a vacation in several years, so we are going to see the Raconteurs!
No telling when we will get the full scoop on the future plans of the Racs.

No telling when we will get the full scoop on the future plans of the Racs.

I'm working on that now..I'm friends with a tour manager as well as a couple other people who SHOULD know...I'll definitely bring word here when/if I find out.

They're going to be at the Voodoo Music Experience on Oct. 30th, so no telling what might happen on Halloween.

I know it's silly to hope for anything involving any of Jack's bands, but my fingers keep involuntarily crossing for a small venue tour.

Ok, one of the cats who has done their sound in the past told me (yeah yeah...I know "he said, she said"...) that there's a strong possibility. Not sure if he's speculating or holding out, but he made mention of the touring before I cornered him about it, then he got a little ambiguous. Take it for what it's worth.

This is the best news of the year. The wife and I were looking at getting out there sometime this fall, and bam, The Raconteurs at Voodoofest. Calling my favorite hotel right now!!
