Few Raconteurs Questions (Vinyl Related)

Post by Grimtale »

1. Are there any 'rare' or hard to find Raconteurs vinyl releases? Seems to all be mainstream mass produced stuff. Just curious...

2. Are there any vinyl releases of the Raconteurs with good quality audio of "bang bang" live or studio out there? (Official releases or not)

Just a few things I've been pondering.

Bang Bang not available but you can rip it off You Tube easily enough. Doesn't sounds too bad :)

They aren't vinyl of course, but Bang Bang is on a few of the Raconteurs Live CDs from 2006 (Concert Live). Some are still available:

To be even more technical both V2 and XL have 1000 of each pressing. It shouldn't be that rare. The live Cd's are probably the hardest to find (they are quite expensive to begin with and some are still available on the website)

here is a vinyl question. a couple years ago I picked up a 12" that was titled "Steady As She Goes" "Slave to the Sunshine Remix" Its a one-sided remix of steady as she goes.

It also says PROMO ONLY on it.

It's a bootleg or isn't actually Raconteurs I'd think. There are a lot of Seven Nation Army remixes out there none of them are white stripes records..

i was wondering, are the 7"'s on the racs webstore the v2 copies?

the whole (rac##) next to the title throws me off a bit. It's making me think that perhaps that WB repressed these. Or are these just leftovers?
