They definitely put on a clinic. Team chemistry was out of this world ! Considering they had about three days of practicing before playing makes it even more incredible. The US gave them a run for their money !

Looking forward to the NHL getting cranked back up !

It was really nice yesterday morning getting up at about 8:10 and watching the first two periods on PVR, fact forwarding through the intermissions and watching the 3rd live. The celebration was very anti-climatic. But I guess everything would be after Sid's goal in 2010.
The team played extremely well defensively and despite the shot/chances totals, Canada controlled the game and possession every time this tournament.
Johnny T getting hurt really sucks for the Islanders. Not like they could really get much worse....sucks for him though.

If they don't, we will start up an olympics program and build a team. Some guys even take a year off from the NHL for the olympics.
