they are both great, im voting racs given we have seen 2 DW lps lately

I find the Racs to be a VERY Average band, and while I really like about 6 of their songs, I feel that I TRY to like them more than I naturally like them...but you know what they say about opinions!

The 2nd part of that statement is how I feel about the DW although I don't find them average, I just feel like I forced myself to like them more than I did initially. Still better than just about everything else out there though!

The Dead Weather = Raw amazing untapped. Someone took a rabid black panther, fed it the blues.

Raconteurs = Like a gentle wise warm summer wind blowing through the trees.

I love them both.

racs = better songwriting, jack on guitar, brendan's amazing voice (especially live), keeler is a great drummer and well, at least both bands have LJ.

if you haven't seen it, try and track down the racs performance on austin city limits from 2006. just about the most amazing 30 minutes of live music...

Jack on guitar is good to see for sure - but the DW are such a unique and interesting band in my opinion. DW all the way!

I voted racs because I have bot got to see them live and would really love too I have seen tdw live great show both are great bands would not complain either way.

I agree with the dude - plus having two front men, playing off each other makes the Raconteurs amazing to see live.

Also, if you get the chance, go see BB live - he is superb.

Jacks greatness on guitar plus enjoyable positive vibes.

Can't say I think it will happen though

Second tour it seemed the band wasn't so into it
