I've gotta say, after recently viewing True Grit, I was a little disappointed. I mean, it was a decent movie. But it just wasn't as good as I was anticipating.

the romero classic trilogy - night of the living dead, dawn of the day, day of the dead. recommend avoiding the second three, land of the dead, diary of the dead, survival of the dead. also -

- shaun of the dead
- fido
- 28 days later (technically not zeds, but anyway)
- 28 weeks later
- the dawn of the dead remake from 2004
- dead set (if you can track it down, a british made tv series based on the big brother reality show. brilliant)
- [rec] (the original spanish version, not it's american remake)
- braindead
- return of the living dead
- zombieland (if only for the surprise cameo...)

and a great concert flick that no one's ever heard of, urgh! a music war. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0138902/
Dude, yet another reason you are my older brother from another mother. I love me some zombie shit. Oh yes, and Bill was fantastic in Zombieland. 8-)
