Do I think they would have something ready by then? I doubt it. When I was there just after the opening I didn't get the impression they had a date of delivery for the machines. Installation of pressing equipment takes a good chunk of time and may require specific permits. I'm thinking about heading over there on a day off next week, if things fall into place I could report back.
godspeed simms! and could you buy me a tmr wreckers hockey jersey and have dean fertita sign it?! that would be awfully cool of you.

thanks.
Well, with some PayPal money I'd gladly pick one up for you but the signature....not sure on that part.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention this!
No Pujol!?
He's been on a streak for having a release the last few RSD events.
That alone would've been enough to get me out of bed.

RSD 2013: Deep Cuts 7"
RSD 2014: Circles 7"
RSD 2015: Relive At Queen Ave. 5" Lathe
BF RSD 2015: Kisses EP
RSD 2016:

I was just at TMR and spoke to a gentleman I believe may be their pressing manager. He said they were 6-8 weeks away from pressing records. Machines are on location and being installed. Indicated technical support from the press manufacturer would be on site next week. No pics, Windows were covered. Forgot to ask if they are doing their own plating.

^^ That is some damned cool news. Thank you for getting the scoop. Can't wait to find out what their first pressing will be.

Thanks Adam!

Looking forward to checking it out this summer when I arrive back home. I hope they do tours of the plant.

If it remains one big room like it is now, tours will probably consist of looking through the window.

I can imagine them restricting access to the plant.
If that means limiting tours or curtains for the windows I don't know, but you know how they like to keep things under wraps.

^^ Indeed. I would imagine no tours and the curtains closed when they're working on a big surprise.

It would be cool if the standard black GBMS was at least one of their first releases. It's way overdue! (Not for RSD, of course.)

It is almost time for TMR to make their announcement(s), isn't it?

I'd say first of April or so for an announcement, getting close

I was told no American Epic until the series is released in the fall.
