Just like your not from Seattle, nobody gives a shit.

Ty has played in Nashville many times. Has many ties there and friends. He sounds like Nashville "rock". I jut clumped him in there. The point I made multiple times is that I would love to see more up and coming bands from Nashville do a 45 with TMR and that includes TY. They are in Nashville now, we have had enough Detroit Rock for now, lets support local artist.
What detroit rock have we had enough of, Woody? Surely I'm not the only one who wants more. Underwear Heads doesn't count as Detroit rock. More of an oddball release...

To be honest, I really just want more White Stripes unreleased/Racs/DW. No Nashville, no more oddball singles. Just the stuff that they know we like ;)

Please don't reply. I don't feel like arguing. Thank you for posting that to Ben. He had it coming. :)
I see nothing to argue about........
But keep the oddball singles coming, we might could argue that.

Does it not makes sense for an up and coming record label such as TMR to release some records by bands in their home town of Nashville? I know there are a couple now, Ben.....

Just a thought/request from a fan.

For fuck sakes.

It would appear that Woody had a moment of channeling Hawke. Could y'all perhaps edit any more quotes of that particular post?

While I very much love the Document and Sun reissues because they give me the opportunity to explore music that I passed by when I was younger, I definitely agree that the Blue (and Green!) series are a cornerstone of what TMR's doing. Even the ICP release. I greatly dislike both songs on that release, listened to them once and will not ever again, but I don't see that one as "jumping the shark". I'm not quite sure why both Jack and Blackwell insist that it's the greatest thing TMR's ever done, but it is definitely a sign that we should never set boundaries around or have expectations about this label. I appreciate that they sometimes put out stuff that I don't like or am not necessarily interested in because even if I don't get into every release, I'm still being exposed to things I might not have heard of otherwise. It inspires me to think outside the musical boxes I used to live in before discovering TMR.

I find Mildred far worse than ICP and that was the very first release in the series so it's hard to say anything is in decline at this point.

Hear, hear! We need aTMR Arctic Monkeys single! And what the hell happened to that Radiohead recording?

See what I bolded.

If anyone, ANYONE, thinks this about TMR, I want what you're smoking. NOW. (I'm not saying you, Jamie; I'm just saying anyone who thinks TMR has now sunk to some level from which it cannot recover must be drunk, stoned, and suffering from a concussion. I mean, c'mon, people . . .)

Sorry for the picture ladies. I did not think it would be that offensive. If your a man on these forums it beats the hell out of Hawkes dicks. I will try some restraint. Some....

I would be willing to bet that Ben laughed his ass off when he saw it. Not really trying to be an ass, just expressing my feelings. Not porn, but I agree probably not appropriate. but hey, I'm a Rebel.
