Looking at some of the Blue Series and i know someone has mentioned... Jack White is producing under a new name? any other release marked this way? anyone know the story behind the nickname? any other info in other threads? thanks swirl!

Oh, wow, now that's clever.
I thought the "Tall Poppy" was just a play on Big Daddy or something (since he's the godfather over there) but it's nice to see it goes deeper than that. (Sad that it's a bummer human tendancy... but still...) Well done on the deeper meaning.

Didn't someone also find a beer called Tall Poppy Red? And didn't the name show up under producing credits right after Jack mentioned somewhere (an interview? Vault chat?) that he was thinking of taking his name off of Blue Series singles because he didn't want his involvement to overshadow the artists?

I thought one of the Bens said all of the blue series singles were produced by Jack. That's the reason Willy Moon's wasn't part of the blue series.

The labels say produced by Jack White III. Sleeves say Tall Poppy Red, means that he doesn't want his name overshadowing the artists.
