Does anyone have the I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself DVD single? I'm curious if the start of Lafayette Blues is cut off like it is on the promo CD.

Still available on iTunes I think. Attic Jam, 2007, Various Artists, The Raconteurs featuring Pete Townshend.

So you don't count anything on TMR Nashville?

That would probably be a separate compilation. Different era, the band was toast by that stage, at least Meg knew it.

Similarly, I wouldn't put If You've Got Trouble or That Means A Lot on The Beatles Past Masters.

And as things on Third Man are being released out of sequence, it begs the question as to whether to order the tracklist by recording date, or release date.

Ask me again in ten years!

I was specifically thinking of Small Faces (live). It might be possible to figure out which show it came from, but that would be a LOT of work. There's the demo stuff as well, Signed DC, etc. Probably release order would be best so you know what's neo vs. classical release. I like this list!

I don't have the 7" to compare but they also play it at Reading 2004

My basic criteria was, was it released in audio form on an official White Stripes release during the time I consider the band an active force, ending with songs from the last single of their last album. Everyone would have their own approach to track selection, but this one works for me.

Some notable non-inclusions:
Black Math (Live at Masonic Temple Theatre), because it was released as a video, not audio. Plus I didn't want two live versions of the same song so close together.
Hotel Yorba (Live on Jools Holland), and Hotel Yorba (Live from Glastonbury), because they were released on DVDs, on non-White Stripes releases.
The Denial Twist live CDs. Remember this is a listening compilation! (Those tracks would easily form their own standalone compilation.)
Icky Thump (radio edit / vinyl version) because it wasn't significantly different enough as to warrant inclusion.
My Doorbell (live with Jools Holland) because it wasn't an official White Stripes release, it was just some TV show compilation.
Anything related to Under Great White Northern Lights. Could probably tack the promo CD and 7" on as bonus tracks to the end of the album.
Anything first released after 2008.

I like that list. I have several tracks already and would be a good starting point for collecting all the B-Side tracks. I think the one that I don't have readily accessible to me is Blue Orchid (High Contrast Mix), everything else I either have or can readily get if I went looking for it. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.

@jett - Sorry fella, almost but no cigar. You found the track in a set list on setlist.fm but didn't check the stats. According to setlist.fm they played Small Faces live at least 44 times provided the website is correct. I don't know about you, but I don't have time to track down all of those shows to do comparisons. But I do know it's not the Roseland Ballroom show from 2003. ;)

I took crimpies "vintage" list and located all the tracks as well as added the My Doorbell - Jools Holland track since it was released on CD although on a comp disc. Everything below can be sourced from CDs except those tracks marked with a *. Below the "vintage" list is the "modern" list of B-Side tracks that have been released since TMR was started as a full fledged label. It doesn't include tracks from full blown albums like UGWNL, but does include the 7" single from the boxset.

Just updated this with all the new releases from the last 6 months or so. Still have a few question marks if anyone can help with info:

What were the extra WS From The Basement tracks you could buy online, which weren't released on the DVD?
Were the Raconteurs From The Basement videos also available for download?
Are the three WBC tracks on the '3' promo a slightly different mix to what ended up on the album?
What was the The Go song from the Jack era released on the cassette boxset recently?
