Bizarro World at TMR

Post by anonymousbrunette »

The Third Man Records website has gone blue, upside down, and generally haywire.

http://www.thirdmanrecords.com

In Jack's chat on The Vault yesterday, he suggested something interesting might happen today (coinciding with the opening of their TMR pop-up store in LA. This should be fun.

I wonder if they will release some of these Bizarro records at the pop up store.

But it was fun while it lasted. And I have to think the LA fans (and flippers) are still enjoying the frenzy. Never had an urge to visit LA before, but I do wish I'd had a shot at those 3" sets.

No backwards records left in store at all, not one. There were only 3 Buffalo 12"s left as well, so it looks like there's not much worth heading down for that you can't get online now.

Wow. I wonder how many people made purchases with the intent to flip. Already seeing them on eBay but owning all the singles already, can't say I'd pay those prices.

Besides the PM ones that I am not sure if they were for sale
There were 2 popup posters
Butterfly for normal and spider for reverse. I think they are from Slater
Check the popup thread

Westward on the Vault chat said the the FFB still has the "the ribbon is busted" in the dead wax. I'd bet they don't play backwards.
