I wish I'd score a split. I may order another online and hope to get one. *Le sigh*

I'll second that. Do any of his others come anywhere close? Can't remember now which one someone sent to me, but it paled in comparison to Old Dog.

Dog House Music is fantastic. I'd say it's just as good. Not so keen on the stuff he did with the Level Devils, or Man From Another Time.

Just checked and Man From Another Time is the other album I have. Guess I need to look for Dog House Music, then.

Pretty excited to see him play this sunday [and Electric Six the day after]
I'd like to sleep 100 days, my feeling has gone, flesh cold and numb.

Much as I love Steve and can't wait for the album, what struck me most about that was the juxtaposition of "Roundhouse" and "Members priority booking"--so different from the Roundhouse that I used to frequent back in the day, hub of the underground scene . . . Actually Steve would have fit right in back then, too.

Very cool article.

Perfect example, too, of how smart on-line news sources are becoming in making their articles turn up in searches. There are only two paragraphs about Jack in the entire article, yet the headline makes it sound as if the whole thing's about him and Steve.

FROM THE VAULT:
Hubcap Music coming to TMR vinyl October 8th!
My friends John Paul Jones, Jack White and Luther Dickensen playing too.

I’M GONNA STAB HIM RIGHT IN THE BACK
PUT HIM IN THIS HOLE

Yet another Steve record that can't be shipped overseas. It sucks, we were the ones who made him popular.

Yes, but that's balanced by your slightly greater opportunities to see him live. I'll order this and ship it to you, if you need.
