Well I guess the old folk don't understand the sarcasm of the new folk then.

Right, that's enough of this conversation.
Get back on topic.
TMR cassettes and why I'll never buy them.

It's a cheap way to get some tunes ..... Other than that ....

I was just dreaming about buying the new Neil Young 4 record set from the Bluenotes tour. Just got an email about it. $90 Fk'n dollars
Maybe it will come out on CD ....
Price of vinyl sucks. Big time !

I'm not buying cassettes but I've been buying more cd's of late. $8 delivered from Amazon, no tax. Just $8

Then after it's been out awhile I look for discounted vinyl

CD's are cheap and a better option than a cassette :-) when looking to save some $

Better is definitely subjective. I own far more new cassettes than cd's

The thing that gets me about tapes is that the tape actually stretches. So, theoretically, the only time you hear the music not distorted is the first time that you listen to side A of the cassette. I'm not even saying this as a negative, it's really just something that I find fascinating.

It's pretty interesting. I've been lucky enough to not have it be audible. I was just listening to some grateful dead tapes made in the 70's that still sound fine

I just found out that there are limited edition versions of the cassettes.
The black ones are regulars, the colored ones limited editions.
Anyone surprised? No?
