As far as listening goes, cassettes > reel to reel to me

A properly dubbed cassette sounds entirely fine, and I can't easily plug a reel to reel into my cars aux input or carry it around while listening on headphones. And 8 tracks are awesome too, but oh the hassle...

Cassettes do sound OK but no way they sound better than a reel to reel !
Much more portable though.
8 tracks are not awesome :-)

R2R is pretty tough to beat in general. Zep II on my uncle's player when I was about 12 years old absolutely blew my mind. Call me nostalgic.

Would be nice if we could get TMR pencils as well
