ISO Original Hand-Painted Lafayette Blues

Post by waynespot »

Hey, all

I know I'm wading into deep waters with this kind of request, but does anyone have a copy of, a connection to, or insight into obtaining an original hand-painted version of Lafayette Blues?

This is a legitimate ISO and any insight would be appreciated.

I know Ben Blackwell had helped coordinate the sale of some of these in the past, I know some members on here own copies, but I also know with the slowing of traffic here, it will be a bit more difficult than looking years prior so any help, tips, or leads are greatly appreciated!

My best recommendation is make an offer. If you say, hey offering $20k for the record...you may get a message. But guessing most sellers aren't going to go sniff around buyers that aren't flashing the cash.

Yeah, best to make an open offer probably.

I used to know where most of them were but my memory is failing me, I could probably tell you where a bunch of them are though. I've been involved in the sale of a couple of them but I don't know if there are anymore that are likely to pop-up these days.

Also I'm not really looking to sell mine either.
