Cool story Knarf!
I remember a wide spectrum of gifts appearing at shows. I'm sure Jack would've been blown away by this one!

Cool.
Care to go back to your "Tales from the road" topic and tell us about it?

Thanks a lot for sharing this story!

Makes me miss the good old days when I got excited about the next upcoming WS gigs. While the whole TMR thing is certainly great, to me a lot of the magic was lost along with the color red. Hope that makes sense, but it was my initial though after reading your post.

It a different kind of magic now - but magic for sure.
Last year was a ball as a JW fan.

It's good to hear a long-time fan say that. I'll kick myself in the ass for the rest of my life for not realizing sooner that I needed to get into the Stripes. But I'm damned grateful that I came along when I did so I don't have to also kick myself for missing last year.

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed my story.
It took a lot out of me to put it down in such vivid detail.
I was cracking up at all the "Messiah" comments.
That was purposely meant to be an over-the-top comment.
I got it from The Beatles Anthology. Tracked down the clip:

Jack White may not be a "Messiah" but...

"Jack White
is bigger than
Jesus Christ"

Someone asked him in chat a year or so ago. He said no. He said it's in a case in the closet and that's where it would stay.

He also said "means too much."
